KEEPING KIDS COOL IN THE HOT WEATHER The VBC staff of directors is well trained and experienced in dealing with playing in the heat. During “code orange" and "code red” days we will take mandatory water and shade breaks at least every 20 minutes. Staff will ensure that each child drinks plenty of liquids. On “code red” and “code orange,” players will spend time indoors in the air conditioning (where available) during lunch and after lunch activities (11:30am-12:30pm). Every precaution is taken to ensure a safe environment for players and staff. If excessive heat is expected for several consecutive days, we may schedule the camp to begin and end an hour earlier in the day. |

FULL DAY AGENDA Please click here to see the Full Day Daily Agenda. Sportsmanship is a priority. We purposefully talk about and reinforce respect for teammates and others constantly at camp. We strive to develop a culture that is fun and respectful. This is reinforced during games as well as after lunch each day with our ROOTS (respect for rules, officials, opponents, teammates, and self) activities.Bullying is not tolerated. As part of developing a positive sports environment we emphasize respecting others. We will address any bullying directly with players. We will notify parents if the problem is not being resolved at the field. Please talk directly with the camp director if you hear of any bullying problems.

*My grandson loved everything about the camp, in spite of the hot temps, and looked forward to it every day. Ryan was his coach and he liked him very much. When camp ended on Friday, he told me "I wish I was going for two weeks." He also says it was more fun than others he has attended in the past... lots of playing time and not too many drills. Continued success to you in the future. Your program is great!
*VBC Coaches and Mike, We have had the best experience with VBC and couldn't ask for a better group of people. Thank you for doing a great job with our boys and elevating their game with positive coaching.
*Hello- Thank you for an awesome camp!! Our son Luke absolutely loved this camp. He even told us that when he is in high school he wants to be a coach. :)
*My son had an AMAZING time at your baseball camp July 14-18 at Spring Hill rec center. He woke up every morning with a huge smile, lots of energy, and ready to get to camp as soon as possible. Every day we heard about the World Series games and all the things he learned. Your staff was professional and engaging. Thank you for the great the experience! We will be recommending your program to all our friends.
*My son loved baseball camp! I felt like it was well run. My son loved the teenage assistants and the baseball cards they gave out at the end. He finished the week really excited about baseball.
*My son has attended many sports camps . He liked yours the best. We will definitely be back next summer if not sooner.
